The Smedley Law Group provided professionalism, strength, and steady guidance during a very contentious divorce and throughout a difficult and emotionally charged process.
They communicated clearly, kept me informed every step of the way, and handled challenging situations with confidence and integrity. The Smedley group allowed for both parties to feel supported and well represented through the formation of the marital settlement.
The Smedley Law Group’s dedication made an overwhelming situation far more manageable, and I truly appreciate the care and effort they put forth.
I would highly recommend this firm to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and dependable divorce attorney.

Ms. Smedley and her supporting staff were more than responsive, knowledgeable and diligent in processing my divorce proceedings. My attorney showed compassion and demonstrated a full understanding of my goals and was able to efficiently and effectively bring my file to a more than satisfactory settlement. They were very communicative each and every step of the way. I cannot say enough, in stressful personal times, how valued their services were to me and my family.
I'm going to try not to write a book about Alison and the Smedley Law Group, but just know that I probably could lol.
I've been a single parent for a long time. I've never had to hire a lawyer, and my first and only family court experience was traumatizing, to say the least. I could tell right after my first meeting with Alison that she was not one to let anyone control a narrative that she was representing. She finds the facts and lets the truth do the talking. She is very straight-forward and does not sugarcoat anything, which was something I appreciated when it comes to being represented in a court setting.
The team that worked on my case was also pretty great. I had more contact with them on a regular basis, as the case was being put together, which was also appreciated because Alison's time is (rightfully) pretty expensive. I thought the team did a fair job at delegating the work to save me money where it could be saved. But I will also say, I ended up spending a good bit more than I originally thought I would be paying when all was said and done. At this point, the money put out pretty much sucks, but it's an afterthought for the service that I got and am getting from Alison and her team. She's gonna tell it like it is, she's not going to give you false hope, but she will represent you and your story in the light of what's true and what can be proved. For me and my kids, that was pretty much priceless. I'll be grateful for that for a really long time.

Attorney Natasha N. Scott was excellent and well experienced in my family matters. I recommend her services and her law firm . My case was smoothly settled. Very Happy
Rose Marie is an amazing lawyer. During our entire time working with her she was always kind, professional, and transparent with what to expect. She was able to get the outcome we hoped for. She even went the extra mile by pointing us toward a grant that help recuperate a large portion of the legal fees. Rose truly cares and wants the best for her client.
10 out of 5 stars! SLG, especially Rose and Ali, handled all of my sensitive matters with the utmost compassion, professionalism, and expertise. They handled details that I didn't even know needed to be handled in order to make sure that my daughter and I were protected in every way. I could completely trust them to be my advocates throughout this process. They treated my case with very personalized attention and not as though I was just a number. I couldn't recommend them more highly!
My alimony case started in November of 2021 and was just completed in 2026. My lawyer, Alison B. Weinroth, stuck with me throughout the years long case until it was finally resolved. I live in Colorado so all business was conducted through email and phone. Any responses and necessary paperwork were handled promptly and to my satisfaction. The settlement amount was fair. Thank you for the excellent work provided by the Smedley Law Group.
